What is the difference between OEM and ODM at SmartXY?+
OEM (1–3 months): a standard SmartXY model with your logo and custom packaging. ODM (6–9 months): a pre-validated platform from our open-mold library with your branding, color, CMF and UI.
What is the difference between AR99, AR99 styling variant and AR99 Pro?+
AR99 and AR99 styling variant share the same volume-holographic-waveguide body — AR99 styling variant is the fashion-led cat-eye CMF designed for women, with identical optical specifications. AR99 Pro is a distinct platform built on SRG (surface-relief-grating) waveguide, adding dual hot-swap batteries and a smart OLED charging-case hub.
Which certifications do SmartXY platforms support?+
Certification is planned per SKU and target market, covering FDA, FCC, CE, RoHS, UN38.3 and MSDS through an EVT → DVT → PVT → MP gated workflow. Medical and regulated-use pathways are handled through dedicated project tracks.
Can we integrate our own AI model or LLM?+
Yes. The SmartXY AI stack is LLM-agnostic and supports cloud and on-device modes, SDK / API access, OTA updates, and loadable third-party models.
How many product platforms does SmartXY offer?+
Nine unique OEM/ODM-ready SKU platforms: XY-008 AI Glasses (K900), AR99, AR99 Pro, C100, Confidant, Falcon 007 Pro, Audio 01, Nudge and BB Medical. AR99-MY and AR99 Daily Wear are AR99 styling variants, not separate SKUs.
Where is SmartXY located and where are products manufactured?+
SmartXY is headquartered in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, China, supported by a 23-country supply-chain network. The company has operated its own manufacturing facility since December 2025.
