Problem
Bring glanceable AR information into a distinct cat-eye eyewear design for the intended collection.
A women-first cat-eye product with its own frame geometry, approximately 29g bare-device weight and prescription-lens options. AR99-MY shares the AR99 optical and electronic platform: a right-eye, single-green Micro-LED display with a 30° field of view and VHG waveguide optics.
PRODUCT FIT & DEVELOPMENT SCOPE
Bring glanceable AR information into a distinct cat-eye eyewear design for the intended collection.
AR99-MY is the separately listed Mimosa frame product on the AR99 platform. Its camera-free monocular VHG configuration weighs approximately 29 g as a bare device, excluding prescription lenses.
Optical and fashion-led eyewear brands seeking the AR99-MY frame and display configuration.
Phone-assisted prompts, translation and navigation using the selected companion or partner application. AR99-MY is a display product; it does not establish specifications for a separate Mimosa audio-eyewear platform.
Review frame finish, branding, packaging, lens configuration and software integration. Logo-branded pilots on existing frames start at 200 units; final configuration, pricing and deeper development are agreed per project.
AR99 MY supports detachable sunglass lenses with clip-on or magnetic attachment, depending on the model and configuration. With the sunglass lenses fitted, the AI smart glasses also serve as sunglasses for everyday outdoor wear.
Real product photography of Mimosa AR99 MY frames with tinted lenses. Discuss frame colour, lens configuration and branding for your market.

AR99-MY has its own industrial design. It shares the AR99 display platform while defining a different frame, bridge, nose-pad and hinge configuration.
The cat-eye silhouette and narrower, lower bridge geometry distinguish AR99-MY from the unisex AR99 frame. Evaluate the shape against representative facial profiles in your optical or retail channel.
A memory-metal frame with air-cushion nose pads provides a specific fitting approach. Nose-pad contact and pressure distribution should be checked with the selected lenses during sample evaluation.
The hinge combines titanium and liquid-metal elastic elements. Temple fit, retention and everyday handling belong in the product validation plan; comfort is assessed with intended users.
The TR90 and magnesium-lithium body references approximately 29g bare-device weight, excluding prescription lenses. Reference dimensions are approximately 151 × 156 × 47.8 mm.
Frame colour, surface finish and branding can be discussed for fashion, lifestyle and optical-retail projects. CMF and frame changes are subject to engineering evaluation and agreed scope.
Integrated and snap-in lens paths support optical-chain customization. Confirm lens power, thickness, alignment, fitting and final configured weight with an approved optical partner.
AR99-MY shares AR99 optics, electronics, firmware and software. Its physical key and temple touch area provide the reference controls; gesture mappings depend on the selected firmware and application.
AR99-MY pairs a 0.12cc Micro-LED light engine with a volume holographic grating (VHG) waveguide. The single-wavelength display and waveguide form one optical design. Brightness, optical alignment and the intended viewing conditions should be evaluated together using the reference sample.
AR99-MY renders a single green channel at 640 × 480 and 30 Hz across a 30° field of view. It is designed to present short text, captions, navigation cues and notifications. It does not provide a full-colour image. In-eye brightness is up to 2,000 nits under reference conditions.

AR99-MY contains no camera or image sensor. Information is displayed through the glasses; AI, translation and navigation run on the paired smartphone, partner application or connected service. This is a phone-tethered display architecture.
For daily-wear and enterprise projects, evaluate both the hardware and the software data flow: microphone source, permissions, storage, consent and connected-service behavior depend on the selected integration. Venue and workplace policies still apply to camera-free eyewear.

Choose a starting scope for hardware, software, branding and market validation. Each project has an agreed specification and delivery boundary.
Use existing frames with your branding, custom retail packaging and app boot branding. Confirm the reference configuration, lens path, required software support and destination markets before quotation.
Evaluate frame geometry and CMF, lens configuration, firmware behavior, interaction mapping, localization, accessories, SDK and companion-app integration. The agreed scope determines engineering work and validation.
Define new industrial design, tooling, hardware configuration and software integration against a project specification. Engineering feasibility, certification scope, development stages and acceptance criteria are agreed for the project.
The reference optical engine, waveguide architecture, camera-free architecture, core compute platform, display resolution and colour channel define the baseline. Changes to these are assessed as new development rather than assumed to be standard options.
Commercial scope. AR99-MY supports OEM, ODM, JDM and white-label branding. Pricing, NRE and tiered volume terms are quoted on specification freeze. Certification scope and included deliverables are confirmed for the selected configuration and target markets.
