AI + AR smart eyewear OEM/ODM partner, built for real mass production.
Since 2019, SmartXY (Shenzhen Xingyi Intelligent Technology) has developed AI and AR smart eyewear — from the world’s first volume-holographic consumer glasses to K900 camera glasses in mass production since late 2024.
A platform-based AI + AR smart-eyewear partner — not a simple assembly factory.
Headquartered in Shenzhen with a dedicated Dongguan production base, SmartXY is deeply engaged in artificial intelligence and smart wearables, integrating R&D, manufacturing and global delivery for high-end smart hardware. Project work can span algorithm integration, hardware design, assembly planning and production ramp-up. The applicable process, quality records and acceptance criteria are agreed for each configuration.

Front-end product definition, AI/AR engineering and partner projects start in Shenzhen.
The Shenzhen R&D office is SmartXY's research and project-coordination center, located at Room 905, Building 1, Xinyi Lingyu R&D Center, No. 30 Honglang North 2nd Road, Zone 69, Xingdong Community, Xin'an Subdistrict, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518100, China. It brings product strategy, algorithm research, optical adaptation, embedded software, industrial design and global customer communication into one R&D loop.
Seven engineering milestones and platform strengths.
SmartXY’s engineering work spans optics, chip strategy, weight, battery architecture, design and accessibility — the foundation of its AI/AR platform credibility.
Volume-holographic glasses platform
AR99 and AR99 MY use Volume Holographic Grating (VHG) waveguides for camera-free, right-eye monocular single-green information display. MY is a separately listed cat-eye product sharing the AR99 platform.
MediaTek-chip platform experience
SmartXY has built smart-glasses platforms on MediaTek (MTK) chips, with project-level integration across compute, power and AI workloads.
Lightweight monocular AR display glasses
The standard AR99 reference is approximately 28 g bare-device weight with a camera-free, right-eye monocular single-green 30° FOV, 640×480 @ 30Hz display, 0.12cc Micro-LED optical-engine volume and VHG waveguide optics with up to 2,000 nits in-eye brightness under reference conditions. The approximately 28g weight excludes prescription lenses; AR99 MY is approximately 29g with a different frame geometry.
AI camera and open-ear audio glasses
XY-008 AI Glasses (K900) is an AI shooting and open-ear audio smart glasses platform with no AR display; the approved battery wording is 8-10 h music playback and 55 min continuous video recording.
Women-focused fashion-customized glasses
The Mimosa AR cat-eye is a smart-glasses style designed for women, fusing frontier AR technology with an elegant, trend-led aesthetic.
First assistive glasses for the visually impaired
SmartXY’s origin product — a large-model AI companion for blind and low-vision users, debuted at the 2021 China Social Welfare Expo to bridge information access.
Class-10,000 clean-room base
The Dongguan manufacturing site supports smart-glasses production with 4,800 m² of Class-10,000 clean-room space — hardcore smart-wearable manufacturing.
Three AI + AR smart-eyewear lines, from display to capture to accessibility.
A platform portfolio spanning consumer AR display, first-person AI capture and large-model accessibility — all delivered from the same engineering and manufacturing system.
Volume-holographic AR information display glasses
AR99 is an approximately 28 g bare-device, camera-free right-eye monocular single-green AR display product with VHG optics, 30° FOV, 640×480 @ 30Hz, up to 2,000 nits in-eye brightness under reference conditions and Bluetooth + companion-app workflows. AR99 MY is the approximately 29 g Mimosa cat-eye product on the same platform. Both weights exclude prescription lenses; existing-frame logo-branded pilots start at 200 units, with both AR99 and AR99 MY in mass production for OEM/ODM and white-label projects.
First-person camera and open-ear audio glasses
“See what you see” capture glasses for daily recording, sports and travel, meeting notes, AI agent integration and smart object recognition. K900 has been in mass production since late 2024 and has no AR display.
Large-model glasses for the visually impaired
An AI companion that turns advanced large-model perception into accessible, human-centered assistance for blind and low-vision users — technology with warmth.

4,800 m² of Class-10,000 clean-room space.
The Dongguan manufacturing site is the production side of the Shenzhen R&D loop: 4,800 m² of Class-10,000 clean-room space, eight production lines and annual production capacity of 400,000 units. The site has been operational since December 2025. The base supports clean-room precision assembly, optical and acoustic module integration and mass-production ramp-up for partner projects. Production traceability, record access and any ERP/MES integration are scoped per project; the website does not establish that a particular system is deployed for every product. Annual capacity is a planning capability, not a shipment count or reserved production slot.
From accessibility origins to global AI/AR mass production.
A single growth timeline: build reliability in high-trust accessibility scenarios, then scale into consumer AI/AR glasses, overseas brand projects and platform product families.
Why SmartXY is trusted beyond prototype demos.
Company records cover recognition, industry participation and intellectual property. Each record has a specific subject and scope; recognition does not establish product certification, customer endorsement or market authorization.
For due diligence, request the relevant record and its permitted use through SmartXY project intake. Certification review must identify the model, hardware/firmware revision, destination market, report or certificate and holder. A site visit, NDA, component choice or project discussion does not establish a customer partnership, order or certification.

Engineering and delivery across six functions.
A smart-eyewear project fails when optics, structure, software, RF, thermal, supply chain and quality operate separately. SmartXY’s team model is designed to close those gaps early.
