Frequently asked questions
Does AR99 Pro include a camera?
No. AR99 Pro keeps the AR99-family camera-free hardware positioning and has no on-glasses speaker. The single-green HUD presents content to the wearer.
Can I swap batteries without turning the glasses off?
Yes. The temple battery modules are hot-swappable — replace one while the other keeps the glasses running. The optional dock recharges both cells in its dual charging bays.
What does the smart charging case do beyond charging?
It is a pocket OLED hub: a 4-way touch remote for the glasses, a dual-mic translation array with playback speaker, plus battery status display and OTA updates.
Does AR99 Pro support prescription lenses?
Yes — prescription lenses are supported, with memory stainless-steel air-cushion nose pads and a Li-Mg alloy + TR90 frame with liquid-Ti hinges for all-day comfort. Magnetic clip-on sun lenses are optional.
Is AR99 Pro ready for mass production and brand programs?
Yes. AR99 Pro is MP-validated and open for ODM/JDM programs and Mimosa-brand distribution. Frame CMF, logo and firmware customization are supported.
What ships in the box?
Glasses (custom logo), 80 cm USB-C charging cable, black leather case, glasses cloth, warranty card, manual and certificate — in a logo-customizable color box. The smart charging dock, smart ring companion and magnetic clip-on sun lenses are optional.
Is the smart ring included with AR99 Pro?
The smart ring is an optional companion controller, not a standard in-box item. Availability, supported commands, sizing, charging and SDK scope are confirmed for each partner project.
